Brooklyn Girl In.. Nice to Paris [Episode #3]

This episode follows Hanifah and the Brooklyn Funk Essentials on the first leg of their spring tour through France and Torino, Italy. 1. Hey Hanifah don’t feel bad about that handicap think. atleast you had a good reason. Once I was driving to a fast food drive through and forgot to order through the speaker. I got up to the window and panicked started pretending I was deaf and mouthed out the words “I can’t hear you on the mic I’m deaf” the way a deaf person does and then placed my order. The next day I forgot what I did and went to the same drive through ordered regularly and when the lady saw me she shook her head, but luckily she had a little smile on her face so I knew she wasn’t mad at me. sorry my deaf sistahs. I’ve got issues.

  2. what a potty mouth, Hanifah?! Who would have thought that so much profanity would come out of your mouth in one episode. It was quite hilarious. Adds to your humanity. Thanks for sharing your experience.

  4. Dear Hanifa,
I am so happy about your travels and discoveries on the European continent. I’m also blown away by the fact that you were having a conversation with a dear friend of mine in Paris, Paola Bacchetta, who is a not only an incredible being, but also a well known scholar. The world is really a village!!!!
I wish you all the very best on your future stops and hope that you’ll make it to Germany one day real soon.
    Peace and Joy!!!!
