I absolutely love Science Fiction, I wanted to say thanks for turning me onto Octavia Butler (can’t believe I did not ever hear of her). I have already read 4 of her books, Parable of the Sower, Parable of the Talents, Fledgling, and Wild Seed. I am currently reading Kindred. I am obsessed. Thank your for the knowledge.

I wish I could have gone to the comic book convention… Will you be showing some footage from the convention?

I love you people, keep up the great work.

Hanifah, I am a knick-knack queen and collect quite a few things, small, whimsical and different. Your Shaman sculpture is cool. I’ve had a wooden one for almost twenty years. As an artist, all I can say is that much of what we create can’t be explained or defined. We are manifesting into the physical what Spirit guides our hands to do. I appreciate all art that comes from the Motherland and recognize that my ancestors make their presence known to the world through my creations. It’s called “ancestral history” or “race knowledge”. As descendants of Africans, we are born to do things with expertise that was not taught to us. It’s in our genes and we instinctively know how to use these gifts and talents. That’s what the sculptor did. So proudly display your Shaman!

I have never lived with anyone before, so I am sure it would take some getting used to. However, I think my partner would have more to get used to than I.
You two are so funny, and good together. I have lots of friends in NYC so I will be spreading the word about the big event. Count on it!

Ha! Kim’s girls… it’s “meat”-marketing that’s what it is. I’m not mad at her though ;) Funny thing about moving in together. Even though you’ll find some new things downright annoying it’s still always better to come home to your honey. So ladies, play nice! And Celia’s story needs to be a PSA! Please tell the people that love is never simple. I admire her for following her heart. For real, I understand where she’s coming from.

Thanks for turning me on to Not Just Tea! Whenever I need to send a gift, that’s the first place I think of!
