ILoveUPeople.com is brought to you by U People LLC. This is a site initially created to promote the film ” U People”, produced and directed by Olive Demetrius and Hanifah Walidah. U People is a documentary film about what happened in a brownstone in Brooklyn one spring weekend where 30 gay, straight women and trans folks of color came together to shoot a not so typical music video. What was caught on B-roll are moments that most can relate to how ever you live your life. From this premise a thriving community was born that reflects a more diverse image of queer people of color and finds new ways to promote our connectedness as oppose to differences within the larger society.  So to promote the film we began producing the U People podcast and found their is a community out there that not only supports the film but its message. U People is more than a movie but has been embraced as a movement and we hope this site is a second home for all of U People.

Some things you should know about this site:

1. You are not obligated to sign up to iLoveUpeople.com, though the option is given. We understand that you have dozens of other sites with 100s of other usernames and passwords. You should not need to sign up to yet another. Our content is free. All we ask is that you become inspired and active by what you experience here and support us along the way. You can still subscribe to IloveUPeople.com and place in your selected reader (google, pageflakes etc,) or have us delivered direct to your email inbox. If you have already created an account, you are welcomed to keep that account as well.

Comments: If you have a gravatar account your picture will show up automatically when you comment. If not, you might want to get one (so free and so easy) so we can see your beautiful face when you comment.
