We would like to thank all who have supported us up until this point. Your donations and inkind support have brought us to this present moment. But though the film is near finished, the journey has just begun. At this stage there are still costs that need to be met in order to bring U People to the public. We will need funds to hire a publicist, to cover the numerous festival fees, travel, accommodations, promotional materials, beta dubs, subtitling and more. We hope that these fundraising efforts are indeed a community effort as we together bring U People and its unique perspective to the public within and outside the LGBT community.

3. Join the Sugar Fund

The Sugar Fund playfully gets its name from “Sugardaddy” or “Sugarmamma”. Its based around the concept of community funding in small amounts (sound familiar) of projects to which the community feels it best benefits. It is a subscription system that will deduct a set amount (designated by you) out of your account at the top of each month. This way anyone can be a U People Sugar Mama or Daddy! The Sugar Fund is not Tax-deductible and is not associated with Women Make Movies.
